The owners of this gastrobar, which is very close to Aldea’s offices, wanted to give it a touch of decorative style before its opening.
The photos show the bold flooring and the burgundy ceiling that conditioned our task.
As its name, Viña Bonita (the beautiful vine), suggests, the concept behind this gastrobar was to showcase and taste good Spanish wines, hence the tone of red chosen, burgundy, reminiscent of the French wine-producing region.
This project was carried out in collaboration with interior architect Ana Julia Corrales, and both of us greatly enjoyed ourselves.
We first chose a common theme that would underpin the concept. In this case, we thought that vines and wine were the perfect motifs to harmonise the decoration.
With this in mind, we selected a beautiful accent wallpaper featuring vines, which combines perfectly with the world of wine.
We also echoed this image in the vinyl print, which provides an elegant, vintage note.
As an elegant counterpoint, we added golden elements such as the mirrors and the striking lamps that are aligned over the tables next to the bench.
Finally, the bar and the wine rack were decorated with plant motifs. Paper with a lattice pattern was chosen for other walls and finally, the front of the bar was covered in mosaic tiles in gold tones.
And this is the result!
